Tonight I am going for my max. Well hopefully tonight, if not tonight then Friday.

My strength has really been going good lately. Last Friday I got 225lbs. 20 times on the flat bench. Inclined 225lbs. I think it was 12 or 13, but didn't have a spotter to push for more. I can bench 315 about 3 times solid. But that was back when I was benching 225lbs only 15 times. So I am thinking I can get 315 a few more times than 3. Hopefully anyways. I am going to warm up today with 225, just do it 10 times. Then put on 315 and see how many I can do. I probably won't get a good max bench after that b/c I'll be slightly burnt out. We'll see if I try for more.

Maybe try to find a spotter and go for 320 or 325 and start with a little bit of a little warmup so you have complete strength. Good luck and nice weight.

during my heaviest part of my bulk end dec. 07 I was able to get 225 17 reps and able to do 315 4 reps and 335 1 never went for more but with your stats current I can see you doing 355 at least but use a spotter. progression was like this 135 10, 225 5, 295 1, 335 1, for me and it worked good adjust as you need as you will be stronger. Best of luck light weight baby!

I think it's a lot because I can deadlift a little more than that, if I could bench press those kinds of numbers I'd think I'm the biggest man in the world haha. Good luck, LIGHTWEIGHT BABY!

If you're really concerned with your max, then training with sets of 20 is not going to advance your gains man.

When I incline bp'd I could only get 225 for 12, but I'd get 295 for 8-10 every time. Train with heavier weight for lower reps. You'll also grow more.

Well I got 315 6 times nice and solid. I could def get 335 once. We'll see later this week. But as of right now I am not trying to put on any more mass or too overly concerned with lifting heavy. I've been lifting heavy from February-May. So I've gained a good 17 pounds of weight, mostly pure muscle because I've actually lost body fat. So I am happy where I am at. Actually the past 2 weeks I've switched up my training. I am cutting/leaning out my gains I've made. I've really noticed a differemce in my body, looks wise and strength endurance wise. The definition is beggining to pop out and I am beggining to look very hard. What I changed is I am no longer doing training splits. I am basically doing full body workouts everyday followed by 20-30 minutes of cardio. I know some might say why full body workouts everday, your over training. I am doing allot of supersets and drop sets. I try to hit every muscle group atleast once, then the following says I switch up my exercises so I don't do the same thing over and over, hit the muscles different ways. Really hi reps and moderate weight. But I do still do exercises(as you can see), with heavy weight each week so I can maintain my strength and not lose any big lifts I've aqquired. Seems to be working for me. I will probably keep this routine of more reps lighter weight for a good bit of the summer to stay ripped.

Ended up maxing at 365 on the bench. I went for 335 and it went up very easy. Then put on 345 and did that twice, then waited a little and put on 365
I think I could actually get 375 if I tried.
