I have been going heavy and hard 4 about 6 months now, and have had pretty good gains, but latley i seem to be putting on as much fat as muscle. Will light cardio slow muscle recovery?

I think incorporating some kind of cardio be it light intensity, or moderate intensity while bulking would be a good idea as it will keep you lean, yet you will be gaining size and strength, also it will enhance your cardiovascular system, there for giving you a better overall weight training experience.

Im not a fan of cardio while trying to bulk up. Figure out your goals... check your diet. If thats set then make sure your workouts are efficient. You should put on fat but 50/50 sounds like a diet problem. Fix that or do maybe 10 minutes of a cooldown cardio to burn a few extra calories.

I used to subscribe to that method but not anymore.

Fix your diet and do HIIT on the days you don't lift.

I second that. Sprinting will benefit you from a cardiovascular, beta-oxidization (fat burning), and hypertrophy (muscle building) stand point.

cardio is a must no matter what ur doing..... if ur not trying to loose any fat, then run at a slower pace.

always run after your workout, never before
