so i was at the gym today and i was told i shoudl go heavy on chest and then do calves and yet i was going heavy on my split with chest and back is it bad to bulk two large muscles the same day?

Generally yes. The key to the entire sport is finding out what works for you and giving each method a chance. Record your results. No trainer, magazine, or 'big guy' at the gym can tell you what will work for you.

actually more importantly thanks to you guys my new schedule is going to be
monday-chest
tuesday-back
wednesday-legs
thursday-shoulders
friday-arms

but i was wondering is that good enough or should i add something for saturday and sunday would be my day off

thursday legs your lower back will be fetiged it needs time to rest -you will not be able to go heavy on squats.
i do the same exact workout

The only thing about this is that you're only hitting each body part once a week and for most people I know doing every body part 2 or 3 times a week works best. Mainly 2, but yeah maybe try it out and see how your body responds. I'd say do arms and shoulders on the same day or maybe shoulders on back or chest day. Where are abs?

I dont know about you, but I def can't hit a bodypart 3x a week. Whoever told you that is prolly not going 100% intensity every time they workout bcuz normal people wouldn't be able to move and never have anytime to recover. I wouldn't do that unless you're on gear bro.

Not really, once a week is just as popular. I think for most people once a week is enough unless your not responding or something like that. IMO if you hit the muscle hard enough it should take a bout a week to recover. Even if your not sore, recover is where the muscle grows not the workout.
