Wasn't sure where to put this thread but, i guess its the most related to training...

Anyways yesterday i did leg day, and the SLD fuked my lower back, usually i get some pain but nothing serious today i cant move from the chair / bed and my lower back is in enourmous pain...

I mean i went for 110 kilos (45 each side) and i felt good during the exercise but after it i felt some tension, i got home and bend to take the cottage cheese and bam.

any suggestions? creams? or anything that can help?

*about making the lower back stronger i train it for 1 exercise only with weight. so i dont think my lower back cant handle the pressures of the weights. i dunnu :argue:

Its a little better today, i always get that pain when i train legs i guess the combo of squats and SLD are bad without a belt but thats the only way i can develop my legs.

anyways i hope it will be better.

I had the same problem... I have lower back problems and can't do any exercises where weight presses on me (all kind of squats, deadslifts, standing military presses and so on).
I know docs costs something in the states but you could run around with serious back problems! And it could get worse so you're not able to train anymore.

Yeah my lower back is pretty ****ed up right now and it's from overtraining. I'm taking three weeks off. I'm on my second week. I also feel a sharp pain in my neck on the back side, like my head wants to fall off my spine, it hurts really bad, from doing heavy barbell shrugs behind my back, it really really ****ed up my neck, always wear a belt and do exercises in front of your body, don't do anything behind neck or back. Good luck to a speedy recovery.

Or you could just go to canada and become a citizen sence they have free health care! Just a joke dont actually do that it would probably cost more than going to a doctor. O well :)

Yea man it sounds like your back is pretty messed up, you might need to go to a doctor if taking a couple weeks off doesnt do the trick. Wear a belt next time. Hell I wear a belt when i'm warming up with 135lbs! My grandmother has had 4 back surguries, pins, & a steel rod inserted in her back just from lifting like 100lbs. So, i'm trying really hard to take care of myself cause I seen what she had to go through. Not very pleasing. Also if squats are the only thing that tends to hurt your back try a Seated Leg Press Machine. I have one at my gym and I love it to hit my hamstrings really good after about 6 sets of squats and 4 sets of front squats. Try a one legged press along with normal two legged press. Your hammys will be loving it!

Once it feels better try doing light excersices to strengthen your lower back. Things like good mornings.
