That split is really similar to one I used to do. I think everyone has tried something like that.
Right now I am incorporating an arm day as well to help you, since they are my weak points. IMO, over training is different for every person. Personally, I can beat my muscles up and be okay. I train my bi's and tri's on a single day and also train bi and tri on separate days once each week. If you want to try mine, here is what I do. I also split my legs up.
Day 1: Chest/Tri/Abs
Day 2: Quads/Bi's
Day 3: Off
Day 4: Shoulders/Traps/
Day 5: Back/Hams
Day 6: Tri's/Bi's
^^you might not agree or like this beacuse you train biceps the day after back, but for me it works. It all depends on how many times a week you want to train your arms. If you don't like this, and want to train them ONCE specifically on their own days, maybe try something like this...
Day 1: Chest/Abs
Day 2: Back/(Calves)?
Day 3: Off
Day 4: shoulders/Abs
Day 5: Legs
Day 6: Arms
Day 7: Rest
This might be to many days, or you might not like legs or shoulders that day...Just trying to give you some ideas.
Hope it helps man
