Hey,

Alot of guys telling that if you wanna bulk and gain good amount of weight you shouldnt cardio at all,i asked the IFBB pro Mehmet Yildirim (MEHMET YILDIRIM IFBB PRO :: Site Officiel :: Official Website, PRO WEIDER GRAND PRIX, bodybuilder, IFBB)

My question: I asked in some forums and i got the answers to not cardio on a bulk to gain weight.

His answer: They say it but if your heart isn't training you lost rest capacities (breathe) and you loose congestion capacities..
it is the key.

I guess he's fully right,i mean..i cant say agaist a f'n IFBB pro

How much should be enough?

I think maybe 20-30 mins 3 times a week would be plenty but it really depends on your body.If you start putting on more fat than you would like you could bump it up a litttle but you do need some just for cardiovascular health

1 to 3x a week for about 30 mins is right. it's def more about heart health than anything.

yes cardio always. While on a bulk just increase calories to accomadate growth. Ive tried it both ways and I hate how easy I get winded after laying off cardio for a few months so I keep cardio year round now.

Off-season I go with 10-20min post-workout. Keep the intensity light to moderate. I find that my gains come faster when I include cadio in my off-season training. And of course the goal is always to get diesel, not fat.
