that and the brachialis is the powerhouse of all curls.

the biceps are actually small ass muscles that don't really assist in much

hey the biggest misconception in bodybuilding i notice is the empahasis put on biceps when in all reality the tricept makes up 2/3 of the arm. keep this in mind while training and make sure not to overtrain the bis becuase then they dont grow. as for your personal goals the bicept is made up of 2 heads the short head and the long head, im not sure what kind of exercises you do now but i like isolation movements for the bicept and always have some sort of barbell curl in variations to get that heavy set in to make them look fuller and grow. and switch up exercises every 3-4 weeks.

these guys are right about everything they told you.
my routine for arm day looks like this:

Reverse Grip Bench 10,8,6
Skull Crushers 10,8,8
Ropepush downs 10,10,8
EZ bar curls 10,10,8
Machine Cruls 10,10,8
StraightBar Curls w/ wide grip 10,8,8

when i do machine curls i grab the bar thats perpendicular to the machine (so grip looks similar to a hammer curl) and really squeeze at the top of the motion- hope that makes sense
