I've read everything on here about sleep, I was jw if it seriously affects my muscle growth if I am consistently only getting 6.5-7 hours of sleep a night (I cant sleep any longer, even with earplugs)

Try eating about 1 hour before you go to bed. That will help.

really, IMO, 6.5 -7 isnt THE WORST THING EVER. its true that studies show that you should usually get 8 hours of sleep, but youre really not that far off and if thats all you can sleep, then no big deal unless you feel shitty and tired all day.
your gains could be because of your bodytype, or diet, or some other factor.

i think i remember kaboom sayin that he only gets like 4 hours of sleep and that guy seems to be pretty massive.

i think i remember kaboom sayin that he only gets like 4 hours of sleep and that guy seems to be pretty massive.
However, he himself mentioned that he would probably be alot bigger if he got more sleep. Remember, some people succeed not because of what they do, but because of their genetics. Some people can look at weights and grow. Some people could have great nutrition and sleep and workout like crazy and barely gain. Its all in the genes.

Id say sleep is very important for your body, and id suggest trying to have a little nap sometime in the day.

Do you ever feel lethargic or really sore after workouts?

youre welcome kaboom

and i definitly agree with you frosty, sleep is extremely important. naps are great too, i take one almost every day. i guess the main thing, with the amount of knowledge i have, that i was getting at is if he is tired during the day due to the amount of sleep that he gets, like we both asked.
