when people talk about clean reps, they mean using good form and not cheating, right?

why is it i see guys not going all the way up [but not locking out elbows ofcourse], i see guys going half way up, doing it real fast? like they get 1 inch from the chest on the way down but at their top, it's like 5 or 6 inches from a normal bench??

So as to put more emphasis on your chest muscles and minimize the use of the triceps at the top.

it's solely to keep emphasis on the chest like Blitz said.

Dennis Wolf practices that and he has a decent chest.

either bad form, they are using weight heavier than they can do a full ROM for, or they dont know any better.

Im not sure about the whole putting less emphasis on the tris. Your tris are activated by the grip more then anything from my understanding.

Also, be careful what you see on youtube or what bodybuilders do.

Alot of body builders you wont see performing squats these days on videos, but their legs were initially built upon those.

that or leg press

you can gain a lot more from leg press than people think they can

However, its not nearly as beneficial for the core as squats are. Also, stabilizing muscles in the legs and the whole body are activated more by squats vs leg press.
