my enitre weight set was stolen with the exception of the bench and i'm not happy about it but i'm not going to let it stop me from training...i have no access to the gyms here because they're outrageously expensive...i'd like to train my entire body to gain some good mass...can anyone give me some good exercises i can do so that i can get some more mass without my weights...i'd like to work my legs, arms, chest, and back...well pretty much everything...can anybody help me?

This may sound daft but temporarily fill Milk bottles with sand etc... if theres any logs in your garden lift and try to squat those.. try pull ups on if you live near a park.. on any climbing ropes also.. the list is endless just use your imagination,

Also I'd like to know too.. how'd your weights get knicked?

tough luck man..

good luck with a new routine

If worse comes to worse invest in bands in addition to bodyweight exercises. Of course, no exponential increase in size or strength will occur until weight progressive overload training is continued.

Here's some exercises you could do to maintain and prevent muscle atrophy, of course that and your diet is where it should be ...

1. Push ups at different angles, arm width and hand positions.

2. Chin ups, push ups, burpees, bridges, crunches.

3. Climbing stairs hitting different areas of your quads.

4. Jumps, squats, thrusts, etc.

Good luck and hope you get the guys who jacked your weights lol.

the guy who stole your weights, is probably trying to be Mr olympia. you can do push ups, pull ups on a tree or a bus stop. Donkey raises for your calves.

for arms wrap lots of heavy books in a bag that wont rip, and do bicep curls.

There is a tremendous assortment of bodyweight exercises you can do.

Id suggest some pistol squats (great core and leg workout), some jacknife pushups (Men's Health - Power Training - Bi - Jackknife Pushup), and there are a ton of bodyweight knee dominant exercises you can do as well: Men's Health - Power Training - Knee-Dominant

But dont forget hip-dominant exercises.

Personally I think this guy is great,
RossTraining - Bridging The Gap Between Ordinary and Extraordinary
he has made up a book called never gymless which is about working out with no equipment. I think you should definetly check out his site because he shows good workouts with minimum equipment and shows how to make some good equipment aswell.

You can also email him and he will reply personally which ive done and got a reply within a day.

sorry to hear about your weights being stolen.

As the guys have mentioned there are plenty of different ways and things to use to work out

My brother, like Julio said has made weights before, he used quick set concrete and made a few differnt kilogram weights. I have heard a few mates say they have trie using empty milk/soft drink bottles filled with sand/water which is what Genghis said also

Bricks/logs can be used. Or what about digging a big deep hole then filling it in again then repeating now thats a work out
