yeah, 25 sets is a lot. I just finished reading an article about Brandon Curry and how he does 15 sets max for arms... 20 for legs but that's another matter.

If you make gains, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Also, the time spent I'd not spend more than 45-60 mins the gym, cardio work is separate time. If you plan out your workouts, 45 mins should be plenty to get it all done.

I believe it takes this long to do legs. While the smaller groups may have a few sets too many not legs Quad hams and calves need volume IMO 30 sets in and out of the hole in 3 minute time span equals 90 min. Sometimes I wind up doing more than that.

^ agreed. I don't usually pay attention to the clock when I do legs, it's less of a stress to not worry about time.

I guess it depends on how many sets you really want to do. If it takes you 30 sets to make gains, ok, but that just means more time in the gym... and the 30 seconds or more between sets for rest times.

A bit off topic, but you guys, when in the gym, does anyone eject you from leg press, bench, pec deck, etc when you're taking a 30 second break or whatever, like they can't wait 30 seconds or they think you're just sitting on your ass for no reason?

it sucks a lot, but you're just going to have to get used to training a lot less in season... it's just part of the game

I do 15-20 sets of arms a week. Might be too much?

I think you could solve the problem by subtracting time off of your workouts. Football by itself is a full body workout, so could be straining. Just my opinion, but CNS drain seems likely to be apparent as you progress with this training split. Eat big as you know how to do!
