you bring it to the top of your chest, sit straight with your chest high and bring it down hit the chest and than go up and fully extend the arms and when lowering it again do it slowly.

to me hitting the collar bone is good, but it could cause injury and let go of tension, but that's just my two cents on it

i think going all the way down to ur chest isn't necessary.... it's like, to the chin is %100 ROM, and to the chest is %120... it's not gunna give you any better results IMO

military- goes to the rear of the head no lower than ears and really doesnt have to literally go behind the head just as long as it touches around the back and goes no lower than the ears..

This also depends on your skill level also.. I can do down to my chest or to my chin. Depending on how I feel for that day..

As long as you listen to you body and work within your ability you should be ok..
