question on weight and sets

hey guys.. ive been stuck on a weight dumbell pressing..(mainly my diet) my question is do i continue to do 50s continuisly for my working sets, or do i just pyramid the weight?

It depends are you able to complete your sets with ease?If so might want to move up to 55s then up again if you get the whole set.

50 i can do 8 reps with. problem is 55s i can get up by myself, but if sum1 helps me get it up i can do around 6 or so. if i trained with my shirt off i can do more.. god my shirt pisses me off

If you are stuck, eat more and try to pick up bigger weight.

Got to push through something like this, you cant just sit back and continuously lift 50's because you have a plataeu.

yes that is one thing dc training forces you to do, increase your gains overtime

soo umm youre at this plateau, are still making muscular gains? like weight/size? if you are, then i wouldnt worry too much about being stuck at 50, remember you don't necessarily need heavy weight to make hypertrophy.... for example

I can do flat barbell bench for 8 reps at 170 lbs, but if used 155lbs, i would still achieve soreness and muscle failure if i did my reps extra slow and controlled, with say a 3-second lift up, and a 4-second negative down

Work on your diet.

Try pyramiding and having a spot. It's worked amazingly for me man.
