Afternoon dungeon brothers (and frag and islander),

As some of you may know, it's final exam period for colleges and universities up here in canada, and my training has taken a beating. I've lost a lot of my gains as i've been missing out on meals due to studying and going to classes for extra help. I've lost weight... and its so visable when i look at myself in the mirror, its horrible, to see what i worked so hard for simply disappear in no time. On top of this i've been sick, coughing sniffling, not feeling to eat. I've had to take a week off the gym, and even before that i started to slack, and then this monday coming (the 28th) im getting my wisdom teeth taken out, so there another week off the gym. My question is... how long would it take me to regain my losses after my exams/surgery? I've lost about 7 lbs...

hey man,

that just goes to show your education determination (haha rhyme )

i wish i had the same passion for school...i have an exam today and i havent studied at all and i wont study lol.

but its worth it in the long run, youll have plenty of time to play catch-up in the gym.

and as kaboom said...i think your gains will come back quickly so dont worry about it!!

good luck on your exams dude ;D

Hey bro.

Don't worry at all, and don't get discouraged at all. Feeling small is psychological, and you aren't losing as much you think, trust me. About the time it takes to regain what you've worked hard for, all that matters is you gain it back. Neuromuscular facilitation (the process) will begin as you continue putting the usual work on your muscles. So, no worries, just get back on top of everything when you return and your gross motor skills should adapt.

Good luck on your exams bro, recover quick, and continue eating as best as you can. Keep thinking positive!

You'd be amazed how fast you can regain what you've "lost".

When I got my wisdom teeth out and started school hardcore I lost 30lbs in 2 months. Don't worry about it. Control what you can control and you will be fine. Just stay positive.

Agreed with the 'mental struggle,' just keep positive and look forward to working towards failure after exams. Good luck there.

As for missing meals, pack your stuff in little bags and eat it when the time comes. I do it like this and sometimes I miss out on 5 mins of a lecture but when it's time to eat, you gotta do it.
