Hey I was wondering, Is it easier to gain muscle by benching more with less weight or benching less with more weight.

I found this the other day it was a good video explaining "The Pump" and how the different muscle fibers react Slow and Fast Twitch
YouTube - The Bodybuilding "PUMP"...Does It Work?
but don't get the wrong idea it is not easy to build muscle there is no trick to it just dedication, hard work, proper nutrition, and be sure to sleep at least 8 hours a night

Well, if you want to add MASS and STRENGTH, ideally go for the heaviest weights you can handle with proper form in an 8-12 rep range.. Though there are many different styles of training and you have to find out what works best for yourself, this comes with time.

Are you just starting out by the way?

to build muscle you need to use the weider technique.
70% of your max 1 rep weight and perform 8-10 reps. 3 sets.

To build mass you must go heavy. but its always great to throw in a set of 25 reps or so to feel that pump.

There's no right answer to this question.

Each rep scheme produces different results, with different rest periods.

Well if your just starting out then I wouldnt necessarily go grabbing the heaviest weight you can. You need to use weight that you can learn proper form with first imo.
Also if your just starting to lift you shouldnt use the heaviest weight you can lift when you go into the gym for your first week imo.
Start that first week learning form and getting your muscles used to pumping iron slowly.
If you dont learn proper form first you will be setting yourself up for certain injury.
Good luck bro.

if u don't see any mass, but do see strength gains in the first 4 to 6 weeks it's cuz it's all neural.

don't get discouraged.

it's through weeks 5 to 8 where hypertrophy begins to take shape
