Scientifically speaking, they've done studies and the best time to work out is....(drum roll please)....is that it makes no difference. It's when you feel the strongest.
That said, at 18 I hated working out in the AM. Now, at 26 I love it, and have much less energy and motivation to workout after 12pm. Develop a routine: wake, eat, lift, eat and stick to it for a few weeks. Your body will adjust, and your in-workout focus will increase. Plus, dopamine, the neurotransmittor responsible for drive and desire, is highest in the morning.
