It depends on many factors rather from training; eatery, sleeping, water intake, etc. What's your current split?

doubtful. I mean u could just as well split things up and go balls to the walls with everything and gain just as much either way

i have no idea what my split is. I am going to be a college baseball player in 2 years, and i have been looking to gain weight since i can remember, but i have just recently had sucess with gaining. i have been lifting for about a year and a half now. I have just recently started creatine and protein shakes, and have gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. but need more info on the training aspect of it.

i don't want to discourage you - but the 5 lbs in 2 weeks is mainly water weight from starting on creatine. BUT!, keep with it and continue taking your shakes.. the gains will keep coming..

by the sounds of it i'd say your are about a junior in high school looking to pack on some muscle for fall ball when you get to college..?? i played D2 college ball as well and i must commend you for hitting the weight room in high school b/c it does make a big difference when you get to the collegiate level.. plus, when you start your baseball regimen you will be that much ahead of those who haven't touched a barbell.. since you have 2 years til ball, i highly suggest settling in to a training split with an emphasis on legs - specifically squats and cleans.. baseball is an explosive lower half game - especially through the hips!.. i don't know what your position will be, but that has allot to do with what your strength coach will have you do in the weight room..

keep at it and the results will keep you wanting more... good luck man..

yea i have heard that it is just water weight. but ill take it any way i can. I am a junior in high school and I do need the extra weight for spring, summer and fall ball. I practice with a professional team we have in the neighboring county, so i get A LOT of tips there, but nothing with weight gain. baseball is my life, and i am very passionate about perfecting my game where ever my game needs perfecting, and my power numbers just arent where i want them. I am a catcher also, which is usually a position for a big guy, so any weight i can gain would also help there.
