Hey guys,

Two weeks ago I had a career week at the gym. Everything I did was ridiculous I felt like i hit a growth spurt and did more weight then I ever have in anything. Now the last week and a half I feel like im shrinking, and my muscle size is going down any ideas on what my problem is.

You aren't gonna shrink that much in one week. If you stay consistent you will make progress. Eat more and stay consistent.

A HUGE portion of this sport is mental. That could be why, and like Freak said, you wouldn't lose size in a week. Keep confident, the mind goes crazy in bb'ing, one day you feel confident the next you don't.

Its all psycholigical, because you havnt worked out you feel as if your muscles will decrease and you start viewing yourself as if your smaller. It happens to me all the time, if I stop working out for a week or two I think that im getting smaller and everytime i see myself i feel as if ive shrunk even though i havn't.

The only way you could have shrunk is if you've diet has been shit (like very small amounts of protein everyday) and done decent amounts of exercise.

its a mental thing, just eat and drink enough water to supply the muscle with the nutrition it needs to grow.

I think it just depends on how you feel on any given day. Listen to your body man, I train as heavy as I feel I can possibly go on a particular day.

I totally agree with everyone. I do the same damn thing. Sometimes I look in the mirror and swear that im smaller than the day before.
Its a mental problem called Bigorexia. Its a "real" problem that exists. Just like anorexic people who view themselves as fat even though they are skinny as shit. I know I have it but there isnt anything I can do about it, LOL! It drives my wife crazy because somedays I look in the mirror and tell her that im shrinking. SHe just wants to hit me up side the head when I do that. Just keep hitting it hard and tell yourself that its all in your head bro.
