Well I started my cutting a few days ago, but I was wondering if my split was the best choice... this is what I'm currently doing:

Day1 - chest/triceps/abs
Day2 - Back/hams/biceps
Day3 - OFF
Day4 - Shoulders/traps
Day5 - Quads/calves/abs
Day6 - OFF
Day7 - OFF

I include about 20-25 mins of cardio every workout day.... but i'd like to start running longer peroids, but this makes me workout a little too long (pushing 1.5-2 hours) I was thinking about switching it to this:

Day1 - Chest/Back
Day2 - Cardio/abs
Day3 - Shoulders/traps/triceps
Day4 - Cardio/abs (if abs are healed)
Day5 - Legs/biceps
Day6 - Cardio/abs
Day7 - OFF

What are your opinions on this?

Looks good.
I'd add another day of cardio if you're cutting.

Also do HIIT cardio

It'll help you burn fat even after training

It's a very intense form of cardio, burning very high amounts of calories while keeping your body's metabolism increased for much longer periods than the conventional slow and long style of doing cardio.

I am currently taking a class of spinning for about an hour a week, and it is interval training therefore it is as intense as u want it to be, I forget the number of kilometers we travel on average each class but it was insane when i heard it. If u r down for some intense cardio check out spinning, its considered a "girly" thing to do but its nuts.
