i think ive hurt my lower back again, also a question

ok, yesterday i was playing football (soccer to americans) and during football a 6'8 guy (really tall im only 5'9) came and speared me hard in my lower back, and all day i was hurting in my lower back, i think its just a bang, but after a rest it seemed fine and i did my workout, but today now and then it hurts abit, when i stand up quickly, but its ok now, ive got tablets for my lower back when i injured it in the past (did it with dreaded squats, i dont do them now), so do you think i should rest a week or 2,


and my question..

im on about following this routine 2 times a week, monday & thursday,

Upper Body Workout

1a: Dumbbell Press: 3 sets of 8
1b: Pseudo Pushups(Changed From Bent Over Rows) - 3 sets of 8
2a: Dumbbell Shoulder Press - 3 sets of 8
2b: Weighted Pullups - 3 sets of 8
3a: Lying Dumbbell Tricep Extenstion - 3 sets of 8 (per side)
3b: Bicep Curl - 3 sets of 8

Lower Body:

1a: Dumbbell Squat: 3 sets of 8
1b: Reverse Lunges - 3 sets of 8

2b: Supermans (Changed From One Leg Hip Bridge To Strengthen Lower Back Area) - 2 sets of 10
3a: Dumbbell Calf Raise - 2 sets of 12 (per side)
3b: Hip Thrust - 2 sets of 16

I would give it a rest for a week if i was you just to see how it goes

AS far as the training, it just looks like a opposite muscle superset split into upper and lower body days. But only once a week? too less IMO

well, do you think

Monday: Upper
Tuesday: Lower
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Upper
Friday: Lower


im actually, wanting to train bodyweight like (male) gymnasts do because they get ripped muscular physiques through bodyweight also prison inmates who train bodyweight and only get about 3 meals a day but they get huge, but i must say ive been getting good conditioning from bodyweight too,

but do you think i should stick to my workout im on now

Monday: Circuit A
10 Pseudo Pushups
10 Chinups
20 Crunches
Repeat 5 Times

Wednesday: Circuit B
15 Hindu Pushups
10 Pullups
20 Situps
Repeat 5 Times

Friday: Circuit C
15 Feet Elevated Pushups
10 Commando Pullups
20 Bicycle Crunches


Ive Bin On This for nearly 2 weeks, and it does tire you out.. alot lol, i would generly increase the number of circuits i do or add an exercise to increase intensity.

i know, he hit me side on, and with a huge weight and height difference, he must've done damage ive done a picture where it hurts C:\Documents and Settings\Sue\Desktop\untitled.bmp hope it works, but its the top of the ''bum'' crack on the left and right side i think it could be my kidneys or hips?? because he speared alittle to the side where the ribs are too, ill get him back no problem, he tried to cripple me good and proper so its my turn..

he could've cracked ur sacrum and possibly pinched some lumbar ventral rami.

I'd def get it checked out if you still feel it in a couple days

yeah man, if it doesnt feel better id definitly get it checked out
i messed up my back a couple years ago playing soccer, went up for a header with another guy he elbowed me in the chest mid air and i came straight down on my hip. I hit the ground so hard and at a wierd angle my spine was all tweaked out of line from the impact. it took a lot of chiropractor visits and physical therapy to get back in shape.
thats something i never want to go through again so im extra cautions with my back.

well its same feeling from the last time i injured it, it might be my hip were it connects to the lower back, last time doctor said it was a severe muscle strain, and i had tablets (super pain killers) he checked my spine out no damaged discs, so if i go to docs, then he'll just say same thing, and give me same medication, and say same thing, but if i cant walk then its deadly serious lol, and ill be a wheelchair bber lol but ill get that lad back, he drew first blood not me, and he did it on purpose he tried to criple me he speared my back and then tried breakin my ankle so there both hurtin but it only hurts when i get up from sitting down for a long period of time tho., ill see how it goes

well today is wednesday and i went to doctors, but it was closed (wtf, on a wednesday), but my right side is hurtin more than it usually does, so im gunna have to go to doctors again on saturday or monday morning, but im gunna take my tablet and rest some more.. i think it could be a trapped nerve
