When I first started running I would get a build up really fast in my quads. I got threw that phase and thought I was done. Then last week as soon as I jump on the treadmill and my cavs burn like hell and I actully have to stop after 15 min. What should I do? What do you think I couldve changed thats causeing this? Ive been not a super strick but pretty strick cutting diet so this is the only thing I think has changed... This is what creatine is for right? Just so werid for it to be back hard all of a sudden. Drink more water.. I dunno, help I need cardio!!

Creatine has a limit though. Depending on how much your doing such as how much energy your actually expending in bursts, running will be harder. I dont think lactic acid has anything to do with you stopping, more of the available energy you have left especially on a cut.

That and what are you using more, ur calves or your hams to push off?

This has an effect on me when im walking to class. I realized that I was using my calves a lot and they burned like the fire of 1000 herpes sores when I go to class.

This also happens to me, hadn't really thought about it before.

Creatine has no effect on lactic acid. Creatine exerts its influence in all out bursts of energy less than 30 seconds in length, with a rest of at least 3x the burst following.

Calcium carbonate is a good buffer for lactic acid.

Chances are the burn you are feeling has less to do with lactic acid and more to do with the muscle being constantly tight. Try laying off the running for a few weeks and really concentrate on stretching the muscle out.

calcuim! hmm well ive been trying to figure out the proper protein intake. everyone has differnt opinions. but i know ive uped mine but at least 50 grams a day mabey more. and when your body has more then it needs it leechs calcuim from your bones or whereever to flush out the extra.. so mabey this calcuim carbonate thing.. mabey im loosing to much calcium that I would normally have in my body since my protein has been uped so its not here to counteract the latic acid...?
