A basic full body workout, 1-2 exercises per body part, 2 sets per exercise, 3 times a week.

Combine this with cardio, sprinting work if you are in enough physical shape.

After about 2-4 weeks, depending on how you progress, transition into a split program designating more time and work per muscle group.

Basic advice to start you out.

Splits should be used after you know what you're doing and are performing the basic exercises correctly

well welcome to the bodybuilding world! i suggest going out to a local magazine stand and pick up some bodybuilding magazines (ex...Muscular Development Magazine, Muscle Mag International, Flex Magazine) theres usually alot of training routines in there ways of working out and interesting articles that you can learn alot from. Just keep on trucking and remember in bodybuilding the show is on the stage not in the gym just go in there and give itwhat you gt and remeber to leave your ego at the door! i respect a guy that is doing 40 pound dumbell curls with strict form than a jackass that is hurling 90's back and forth looking the village idiot withy zero form.

and dont be embarassed about how much u lift most guys who go to the gym dont have proper form and have no right to judge. try not to compare yourself to other people working out but to yourself after certain periods of time. and if you want motivation use a measuring tape you will more likely see your gains more easily if you take measurements than just looking in the mirror. and remember to breath peace
