Its looking pretty good. Some might think this is over training but I train my legs heavy and hard for a good while like yourself. Only thing is you have alot of compound leg movements (leg presses, hacks, front squats). This could get you easily injured but if your legs can take it go for it. I also do 4 sets per exercise (personal preference) and as always you gotta fine what works for yourself. Like I always say, "Warning Its squat day and I'm a projectile vomiter" lol

Wow... How long are you in the gym for? 2 hours minimum?

I don't know about everyone else but that much in one day is over training at its finest.

Try cutting that in HALF and go HEAVY.

ya man 1.5-2 hours of training with all those sets seems like a lot

even if it feels like you are doing the most for your legs...sometimes less is more

i try to keep it anywhere from 12-16 sets on leg day just cuz i try to squeeze in calves as well

always perform to optimum intensity, ESPECIALLY with legs

however if your successful with your split more power to ya

IMO start with squats first because they are definately one of the best mass builders you can get for your legs

glad your getting results dood keep it up!

get big
get husky!

9 exercises! 27 sets! ... dude you need to increase the weight and intensity.... period. This is definitely overtraining man, unless you're an IFBB pro. If after 12 sets you're not exhausted, you're not working hard enough. Especially the front squats and hack squats... those should destroy your legs.

And if you're going for size, definitely stay below 10 reps. I would say 6-8 reps, and if on your LAST set for that exercise you can do 8 reps, you're not lifting heavy enough.

You could split ur legs into two days and combine two other days of other bodyparts. Do one day for quads and one for hams and glutes. It's not a terrible idea. This way they'll grow evenly without a doubt. Also, try GVT for legs. It's amazing

I don't think that 27 sets is that bad. I do 24 sets and my legs days are my best day I'm always going heavy balls to the walls. My physical therapist says people would be amazed with the amount of stress muscles can go through. I've been doing it this way since I started and I've not stopped growing to date. I've recently thrown in another exercise for chest and that's helping too.

Anyone know where Arnold Scwarzenegger got his name? He did hundreds of squats in the woods with his training partner in Graz. They couldn't walk for a long time and had to lean on their bikes so they wouldn't fall. Arnold stated that his legs grew an entire inch. The Oak. I know he was probably on gear but still, lol
