i am starting to do GVT for 6 weeks to take everything to the next level. for those ppl who dont know what it is, it consist of 10 sets of 10 reps for a basic movement and 3sets of 10 reps for an isolation movement. example 10 X 10 squats and 3X 10 leg extension. rest intervals are really short and while performing the excerise you want to really focus on the muscle with slow movement and flexing really hard. has anyone tried it? and did they gain strength and size? tnx in advance

I dunno, sounds like overtraining to me. 10x10 on a single major exercise seems like overtraining to me.

I'm sure it has its place in some people's routine. I think its a bit excessive, but it may be what your body needs to shock it out of a funk. If you are getting plenty of rest and only doing it for a month or 2, it may be good.

Definitely update this thread in the future because I am curious.

GVT is fine. I've used it and I've gained tremendous amounts of mass and strength. If you alter it to be like a pyramid. You'll see some great gains with it too.
