I've recently gotten over some sort of illness. I have no idea what it was: painful cough, sore throat, aching body, snot and phlem, and zero energy. It hit me pretty hard for a few days and then after the downhill was over I still didn't have enough energy to train for a few days. Now that I am well I have gotten into the gym to get some goods workouts in before I get on my new regiment (the sickness coincided with the last week I was going to be off creatine). But even now I still don't really have it back if you know what I mean. My chest workout was alright but my leg workout today was pathetic by my usual standards. I couldn't seem to some up the hard will I usually have. It was like my head was fighting against me for some reason. I'm thinking I'll be totally over this funk that got in me by Sunday so I can start my new regiment. Who else here has had a post sick slump and how long did it last you?

Mono maybe? Honestly pro when I'm sick I stick do my diet, UP my water intake my ALOT, and train like I usually do. Some wierd reason all this makes me better. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago cause my throat was sore. He said I had strep and I said bullshit, lol! I didn't want to not be able to workout, its my life. I kept doing like what I said above and it was gone in two days! Just ease back into it though bro no need to rush you got your whole life to get bigger.

you'll hear a lot of guys say what Determined said, and you'll here a lot of guys tell you to take as much time as you need off. Basically keep training and eating well, but take it easy and make sure to get all your macros in and if you need it medicine. It's best to take it easy, but it's also best to do what's best for you.
