I have never trained this way but you are lifting almost as much as you can 90% of the time.I would say it would help put on considerable amounts of mass if done correctly and with the proper diet.

It's basically 1 week of heavy weight, 1 week of speed training with bands, and 1 week light to let ur muscles kind of catch up and recuperate. The speed will make it so that your lifts are quick and u get them done. the heavy is so it can increase ur weight, and the light i've already explained. if there's anything else ya need, lemme know.

Huh?

Not too many people doing oly training with bands, it mucks with your technique too much. It's hard enough controlling the bar path as it is.

And sure, rotating 3 weeks of training is one way of training the olympic lifts, but it's certainly not the only way of doing it, nor is it the most common.

For a beginner there's little point in going heavy for the first few months at least. There's just so much technique involved that you need to master first. The heavier you go, the more your technique breaks down.

titty, your best bet is to find a local club so that you can get some form of coaching if you want to do oly lifting. It's very hard to self teach. Or if there's nowhere close that you can train, read and learn as much as you can, and try to make a trip once a month or so to train with a coach.

It's fairly safe to say you can build a physique from doing weightlifting alone:
