Jay bro, your form on these exercises are outstanding. You're strong also. I like the picture of the Front Squats. It shows depth and how the exercise should be done, and I was always questionable about that. I also remember you telling me that your DB's only go up to 100 lbs, that's rough.

-Gotta a question for ya though: What's the benefit of doing the deadlifts on the step? Is that to make sure your form is correct?

Trains balance, greatly increases stability and joint integrity of shoulder, requires a really strong core. It will help improve your snatch.

at bold...

Anyways (), I find it incredibly interesting that you chose to do the front squats without shoes, but the dead lifts with.

Dead lifts should really focus on having the weight on your heels from what i have read, whereas squats should be equal distribution. I didnt think normal shoes (or i guess, somewhat flats in your pics) would cause a lack of the equal distribution.

I do my dead lifts without shoes and with only 25 lb plates to make sure im doing the full depth and movement right.

I've always squatted barefoot to keep the weight on my heels.

I've never tried dead lifts without shoes...but next time I do them...They will be shoeless.

creates a larger ROM, you have to pull the bar from deeper than usual.
