Hey guys... im just wondering about my chest. Itd developed very nice and wide by now, but the question is that i have a good upper chest and lower, but i cant seem to form that decline kinda "Body armour" look that makes the chest. I dieted and noticed it a bit but im back on to bulking .. My chest workout is incline smith, decline dumbell (just started 3 weeks ago), machine press, machine flys, and cable cross overs.... any ideas on exercies that you have improved your lower chest on?

Try weighted wide grip dips with the chest forward, descend slowly and controlled, contract the chest and then slowly push up, when you cant do more like this, speed it up, I love this exercise for finishing off chest

Good question, Ive never had a problem so I am just going to suggest using a training partner to stand behind you to give you JUST ENOUGH support to assist you to raise yourself up. The problem arises when the training partner is doing all the work so make sure your putting in 100% then they add as much or as little to help you!

1.) If you go to a gym, they should have a seated dip so you can progress slowly.

2.) Build up dip power using modified pushups, instead of the standard pushup, lower your hand position to around your mid ab range and do pushups in that position.

3.) Strengthen your tricep workout. Triceps get worked during dips and maybe the weak spot.

Moorey, you seem to know alot more than the average bear, I was told once that the pecs are one muscle and that you can't really work upper lower and middle chest, is there any truth to this or is it just my gym instructors playing it safe?

When we say works a certain part of the chest such as say incline bench, we are saying that this is where the most emphasis is, but of course the whole of the chest is being brought into action!

^cosign. You can divide you8r chest muscle into sections and put more emphasis on one than the other but its not 3 different muscles

If you have a somewhat small chest, the Decline movement will either cause a weird shape of your pecs (moving outward) or it will make the lower portion of your chest more defined. I liked it, worked well for me, but it isn't the most commonly used piece of equipment in my gym.
