With regard to chest and arms, my current split looks like this:
Monday-Chest
Wednesday-Bi's & Tri's
Friday-Chest
And then the next week I flip it:
Monday-Bi's & Tri's
Wednesday-Chest
Friday-Bi's & Tri's

Chest workouts consist of Incline DB Presses, Flat DB presses and DB Flyes.
When training arms I start with weighted parallel bar dips, skullcrushers, straight-bar curls, seated incline alternating DB curls, close-grip bench, preacher curls and then finish with triceps pressdowns.

I am flipping every other week so that I don't overtrain but I wanted to know if by including weighted dips on arms day am I working the chest too much?

In your opinion, would it be better to train chest with tris and back with bi's (as most would suggest) or maybe chest/bi's and back/tri's??

I am getting stronger on the current split but I am not gaining in size the way that I want. I am also considering toying with different numbers of reps and sets. I currently try to work in the 10-12 rep range...and I am considering going to an 8 rep range with more weight.

Thanks for your input!

The split idea you have is fine but get rid of the flyes. For size, it's simply not needed.

If you really want to BLITZ those muscle groups, try starting off with 1 warmup set of 15 with moderate weight, then followed by a 5X5 routine with 1 set of 8-failure heavy...

Choose 5 good exercises like;
Flat bench (Bar) 5X5 1 set of 8-failure
Flat bench (DB) 5X5 1 set of 8-failure
Incline bench (Bar, Wide grip) 5X5 1 set of 8-failure
Forward leaning (weighted, if poss) dips 5X5
Final exercise for the burn, Seated bench 3X15-20

Just stick to GOOD BASIC mass building exercises, & drop things like flyes, & decks for Chest, don't waste your energy on those & give it all you got on exercises like Flat bench. I currently have a 53-54" Chest, & I have Flat bench to thank for it...

I'm currently doing 7-9 lifting sessions per week so my split is somewhat confusing if I threw it out there. BUT atm on one of my days I train Chest with Shoulders in the morning, then followed by a full Tri workout in the evening. It's up to you with how you wanna split your sessions up, if it's working for you stick to working your Chest & Tri's...& Back & Bi's etc...
Good luck bro
