Sweating is actually your body trying to cool it self down in most cases.
Also, alot of the wetness that occurs in a steam room is because of the humidity. Not your body sweating a ton.
The only thing that wearing a sweater does is fight your bodies natural ability to cool itself down by sweating. So, you sweat MORE. All this ends up doing is losing water weight, which doesnt equate to fat loss at all. But people lose sight of that because they drop pounds. Not of fat, but of pure weight.
The only time people use this in the right mindset is when they are trying to make a certain weight in a short amount of time. Like for wrestling or boxing, etc. I dont even think body builders do this, instead they just limit the amount of liquids they intake.
