What are the negatives of overworking out muscles? And how do you know when your overtraining?

Thanks

The negatives are that you won't make as many gains and with the constant overworking you're going to be more fatigued and basically your muscles won't heal as quickly. You'll basically be banging your head against a wall.

As far as knowing when you're overtraining. If you're doing more than 9 to 12 sets for a bodypart, there's a high chance ur overtraining. If you're not making as many gains because ur training too much, if you're still fatigued from your last workout there's a chance ur overtraining, but that could also be because ur not giving urself enough time to recover from your last session. Other than that basically if you're doing too much and not progressing and are always fatigued, then you're probably over training.
