So for March I'm gonna which up the work out routine and I've seen so many different types out there I'm wondering how to do it. My goal is to lift as much weight as possible and get as big as possible. Right now I'm doing a split of chest and tris day 1 back bis shoulders and traps day 2 then legs day 3. I was thinking about doing compound movement exercises 3 times a week any other suggestions?

So your doing compound movement exercises when your doing that? I wanted to try that does it work better than a split?

It really depends what you're going for. Compounds help build more strength than anything, but they're also really great for mass. You can still do compounds during a split. There's a huge debate on whether it's better to do splits or not. IMO they're better because it focuses in on one muscle group a day and gives it more time to heal. It's all up to you man.

I've been doing a 3 day, but for the new one anything. I wanna try doing some compounds and then go back to splits and see which really works best for me I'll start a training log and post that.

Good choice bro. We're young, compounds are necessary for any type of hypertrophy. I'll be checking out your log when it's up
