Hi guys/girls. I was wondering is it better to train 5 times a week, 1 hour and a half per workout or 3-4 times a week, 2-3 hours per workout ? I don't have that much time to train because I go to school, I play hockey and have other hobbies.

Second, I want to get big for the first May because I'm going to the states with the school and I want to show off my big muscles to the ladies . I'm currently 177 pounds, 6" tall, and have a body fat percentage of around 17%. In summary: I want to loose fat and gain muscle mass by the first of May .

My current training split is as follows :

day 1 - back, triceps, abs, total of 15 min cardio. 1 hour and a half.
day 2 - chest, biceps , shoulders, abs, 15 min of cardio 1 hour to 2 hours
day 3 - Legs, 30 mins. of cardio (spining). 1 hour and a half.

thanks for helping me out

At your stats i dont think your at 17%... But how is your diet? Supplements?

I would recomend a four day split.

Day1- Chest/Tri's/Ab's, and your cardio.
Day2- Legs, and your cardio
Day3- Off
Day4- Back/Bi's/Ab's, and Cardio
Day5- Shoulders/Traps. Cardio
Day6- Off
Day7- Off

Your work out should never last longer than a hour and a half with cardio.

Make sure to get in 1g protein per body weight. So your 177lbs get at least 177g protein a day.

Eat between 5-8 meals a day. I prefer 6meals one every 2.5-3hours.

I would go with 5 days a week/1 hour and a half per workout if possible.
If you're aiming for bigger muscles, then 2-3 hours per session will certainly hurt your gains. If you can go 3-4 days a week, keep it under 1 hour, 30 mins if you're doing cardio.

That's also very important, I'm eating about 5 or 6 meals per day, a weight gainer as my only supplement.

5days is pointless. Arms dont need there own day... And they get worked good enough on chest and back day, so why not just do them there and completely exhaust them.

I agree with this workout.. gonna give ya lots of rest to build, and the protien suggested is right on, some kre -alkalyne creatine would be a good idea to to help with the workouts. makes em a little more intense.

that should get cha nice a big come may

Good luck

Don

Yeah, And I want a harem of beautiful mute women who communicate strictly through oral sex.

Gaining muscle while loosing fat is about as achievable (naturally) as turning lead to gold.

Is that creatine ethyl ester?

If so, I wouldn't recommend it. Creatine EE breaks down into creatinine at about a 20% greater rate than that of monohydrate in the gut.

Ok guys thats cool. Just 1 thing: I eat a lot and when it comes to meat I over-eat but I think im still not eating eough protein per day ( around 120 g I think ) . Any suggestions of ultra-protein food I could eat to reach the 170s proteins ? I dont take supplement since my parents aren't sure of what they put in those pills and because I want to be as much natural as possible.
