Holy crap.

Maximum should be 1 and a half, and id recommend keeping the session under 1 hour to be honest. By 1 and a half, your muscles are eating themselves alive and your energy is drained completely.

2 hours is a bit much, did you do an cardio in that workout?, I try to keep my workouts to around an hour, if I have to take a break and go eat or take a nap, to give my levels a chance to fill again, thats cool, also depends of what your training for too..

What is your actual workout? Is it just that your taking too long between sets?

2.5 hours is too much, if you're bulking then you need to take it down to about 1 hour 20 mins or 1.5 hours max, if you can keep it as low as 1 hour or 55 mins then perfect. I used to take a long time too and that really hurt my gains, if you have a friend or a spotter, my advice is that he is as dedicated/focused as you and not the chatty type.

It takes a little practice but you'll get there, just remember to stay focused on what you're doing and not rest TOO much.

My work out is calf raises (both sitting and standing) squats, leg extensions, leg curls, some kind of hamstring exercise with weight not sure what it's called, then leg raises and another ab exercise that I don't know what it's called.

I try to only take about 1 and a half minutes between exercises.

But today I did experiment with different weights on squats that took about 30 minutes.

I have notices big gains though.

And no I don't do any cardio in it.

That's a good idea I think I will start on a treadmill or something for a warm up.

As for the number of sets I do 24 including abs.

24-30 sets should usually be a 90 min WO 3min is a good time for performing a set and resting for the next.

Don't you get bored? Or more likely HUNGRY after all that time doing non-stop exercise, I can't stand to be in there more than 45-an hour tops
