I think I need to jack up my forearms. How many times should I work them out? Or do they come along with other compound arm exercises?

Forearms and leg extensions have to be by far the worst feeling burn ever.

haha i have to do them in team training lifting days. and we do them twice a week sometimes 3. but you gotta do them with high reps like you should youre calves. but in compound or high tension for.

a reverse curl for reps of 10-12 even 15 works. its not muscular endurance when it comes to the forearms and calves.
Cable reverse curl with straight bar.
behind the back barbell wrist curl.
Hammer curls i like too.
and the occasional dumbbell wrist curls both ways on a flat bench.

but the key for forearms is the killer i cant hold my steering wheel for long pump haha. thats what builds them. yah they get worked on compound lifts. but really only if youre lifting real heavy and doing higher reps anyways, with strict for. which most people dont when they use big enough weights to even hit the forearms decent enough.

Take a string and tie it to a 25-45 lb weight and the other end to a short straight bar.Stand up on a raised platform and let the weight go to the floor.
Roll the bar to get the string to wrap around the bar until the weight is at the bar. Then reverse it to lower it back. This burns like hell if you can understand what I am trying to say

I only do them once a week but i don't know the recomended frequency. Another excercise that work is putting the bar behind your back with the bar straight so the bar is near your butt simply grip the bar and bring bar up and down keeping arms straight.

I've just started to casually train them. Usually they come with Bicep work, but it doesn't hurt to throw a Forearms workout every 1-3 times a week. I usually do wrist curls with DB's or BB's. That's what works best for me.
