some people have suggestions on spot reduction theory but I dont think its possible. Cut slow and use periodical refeeds to prserve muscle.

Layne's article in the contest prep section. He covers everything there is to know about cutting.

yeah when you cut your body is going to drop fat every where, I am a believe you can do spot reduction but only to a certain degree. Whenever you have blood moving in an area you are able to move more fat in the blood stream as energy, so if you do abs before your cardio you are more susestible to burning more fat in that area along with other muscles you trained. But you are going to lose fat everywhere, its not avoidable, sorry brotha!

that's an interesting theory. I've always been a believer in the 'you can't spot reduce' idea, but I like where you are coming from.

i know it can work because i have done it before and noticed effects of it, as far as I am concerned it works (but only to a degree) you can't just do that and expect it to just lose fat in your stomach and nothing else. This way just kind of accelerates the process in a given area.

Except that the blood circulates and pools in the muscles of your stomach, not the fat. Secondly, when you do cardio you employing mostly your lower limbs, thus the blood flow would shift to your legs. Nifty hypothesis on paper though.
