hi guys

been working nights for quite some time now and all ways change my sleep pattern meaning more sleep or sometime no sleep like monday woke up 7am and diddnt go to sleep till 11am tuesday morning for 2 hours up again then asleep 10pm-7am... then wednesday woke up 7am and finally going to sleep 8/9 oclock this morning....how bad is it that i can get soooooo sleep deprived?

i know i need my sleep for my muscles to grow but i just cant get to sleep some days especially when im all pumped up from the gym.

will i lose muscle or not grow alot due to this and does anyone have a similar problem??

As a rule get eight hours. Maybre nine or ten if you have time and are exhausted from pounding the heavy iron. Meditation helps and as good as sleeping.

Consider this fact if your sleep isnt optimal testostrone levels can drop forty percent.

Your work schedule dictates how your going to sleep, that's a given. You need to workout when you have the time ( 1 ). Get a good amount of quality sleep when possible. Or find a job with much better hours.

Your muscle loss depends on many factors. It needs to be inconsistant for you to loose muscle. Eating and recovery are your biggest opponents. Even 4 hours of good sleep is better than nothing..

I only get about 4 to 5 hours of maybe good sleep. I have been like that for about 10 years.. I'm still able to pack on the muscle.

I would like to know what you do for a living, career or job in general.

studies show that the best amount of sleep to get is between 6-8hours per night. working the night shift will mess up your sleeping patterns. it will decrease your energy levels and as mentioned will drop your testosterone levels too

have you not long started your job?

if so then maybe its just a jet-lag sleep pattern thing. i used to work 2days 6am-6pm then straight after 2days 6pm-6am 4 days on 4 days of but the sleeping pattern was always mixed and could never train coz only 4 hrs play time between sleeps.

jobs 8am to 430pm now

Do the pills to get yaself back in a pattern.
