oīboy this is a massive exercise for hamstrings and also for quads. i think all of you guys should try it if you havenīt. i did 3 sets and my legs were shaking wow this is the greatest exercise for hamstrings. tell my what you think when u try it my rating:10 of 10

for me its not a leg workout without walking lunges.

me too .. it's hit the gluties muscle also very hard .. when i finish this exercise i feel a burn in the muscle :) .. it's very effective .. but what do u prefer .. barbells or dumbells ? .. i used both of them :)

i like dumbells because you can bail out a lot easier. i have used a BB on occasion.

i use bb itīs better i think. iīve tryed db and i donīt feel it as much so i recomend bb

the problem is that my gym doesnt have enouh space so i cand walk with the barbell around..

i use one of those pre-set curling bars because my gym is packed also. i meen, you might use mroe weight then those bars allow, i think they only go to 150, but thats pleanty for me on this exercise.

if there is no space .. u can do it standing in your place .. but when you're walking .. it feels interesting :):)

i work out at home so when its leg day ill grab a set of dumbbells and walk up my basement stairs bending down on each leg as if it were a squat then walk back down. on the 3rd set ill skip a stair which works the quads, calves and hams like crazy
