i might be late but i too agree with Jake. deads dont isolate the traps but they certainly stimulate them. i find that deads stimulate most of the upper body. though this isnt enough to effectively increase the size of the traps, it is a great pre-exhaustion technique...if you catch my drift lol

lol ^^^ i dont usualy train traps with back anyway, but i have done before. i did deads and then heavy shrugs...it worked a treat haha

Agree 100%. Heavy deads really blow my traps up. Shrugs and upright rows have their place, but those deads really work good for traps.
