Welcome to the dungeon, nice to have you here, Merry Christmas ( if you celebrate it )..

Please give is the technique's your doing, like bench press, squat, curls, military presses and what not.. We can help you figure out your rep scheme from there.

Chris

welcome to the dungeon mate

post your training & break it down a little more so we can see exactly what you're doing.

but 2X12 to warmup is TOO much. 1X12-20 is fine, then stretch

I usually start with one warm up set lightish weight bout 15-20 reps then 2 sets to 10-12 reps and last set heavy to failure usually stretch a bit between sets to pump the blood get into the muscles

All you need is one good warm up set man..anywhere from 10-15 or even 20 would be fine..with a weight that is pretty light to you. Then knock out 3 good heavy sets of anywhere from 8-12 reps.. That's all ya need. If you want to burn out afterwards or "rep out" for a fourth or fifth set, thats all right every once in awhile, but you gotta watch how many sets your doing per exercise and body part..dont want to overtrain either
