It helps protect your pecs and and shoulders when going heavy, I believe.

I'm not sure, there is a specific way of how to bench with one of these. But the main goal is, I think, to get your protect yourself when going heavy this way you can do the weight desired.

It allows for more shoulder grip on the bench and protects the pecs and shoulders. I would suggest something other than a blast. Get a real shirt if you do get a shirt.

As for the bench going up, if you use it correctly, then you would deff. have an increase in bench. I can get close to 60lbs extra out of my shirt.

It doesn't really help much though. If you want pure strength, you need to bench raw. But having a shirt can be helpful to have arround.

No, a shirt will make you bench more, only with a shirt. For example, my raw bench is 335lb but with a shirt its 495lb. If you are looking to build your bench up, look at some westside-barbell articles.

I do not suggest trianing w/ a shirt unless you going to compete.

If you train in a shirt and raw your raw will go up. I get over 200 pounds out of a bench shirt. Example, I bench 470 raw and can double 700 in my shirt.
