I have joined this forum today ....but been lurking around for a past 2 days....looked like u guys were quite committed...so here I am...

I am 6 feet and 218lbs...started at 235.4 lbs...been hittin the gym for 3 months now and in the process of cleaning my diet ....seen some physcial changes...keeps me motivated...

I need help in losing my fat obviously...I am kind of stuck...

Wat i do at gym....a little different/stupid

Monday: rest
Tuesday:shoulders and cardio
Wednesday:back, biceps and cardio
Thursday:rest
Friday: legs and arms
Saturday: chest ,triceps
Sunday:chest and cardio

I split up the chest exercises between the weekends....i can be a bit longer at the gym...so i prefer doing chest on tht day....and cardio i keep it to 30 min...usuallly at monderate pace...

Some people at my gym say...its plain stupid to do cardio after weight lifting...as i loose all the muscle...even tho my main aim is fat loss...i just dnt want to loose that muscle...lol...

I started takin this protein called Horleys Ripped...has any one taken this before?

K...i think i bored u guys enugh...and can someone tell me on average how many pounds should i be for my height....

hey mate! welcome and stay active.

One of the only things i would change is doing cardio on the off days rather than after weights, and do 45 mins each time.

What is your diet like? how often do you cheat? how much protein/carbs/fat are you eating?

if you want to burn off fat keep carbs under 100 grams.
and what skeptic said do 45 minutes of cardio or more.

proteins/carbs/fat....i dnt keep count....

well my diet....is something like this...

7:00 cereal & protein shake
10:00 UP&go (u must have heard of it)...quite popular around in sydney anyway
1:00 sandwich---- chicken or turkey
3:00 fruit and a coffee (weird ha)
6:00 protein shake
then gym
and around 9:00-9:30 sandwich with egg and another protein shake...

something like...this....sometimes i have a muesli bar around the 3:00...

cheat...i try to keep up with this as much as i can...sometimes when i am really hungry...i just get another sandwich from subway or something....but this does not happen that often...

i think cardio after weights is fine...if your only looking for fat loss, but they are right in previous posts...if you want to get the most out of your weight training....you need to separate the two.

some other things that will help you to lose some fat are: calorie counting and a meal journal, but mainly so you know where you are at on a daily basis, and you take the guess work out of it,

your split looked fine (from what i can remember), except chest on back to back days...

cardio 6 days a week 45 min....thats also what the surgeon general recommends...i think, i will find out for sure and refrence it -42GUNZ
