12 reps(70%) then 10(90%) then 6 then(110%) of your max then follwed but back to 10 then 12 leaving about 30seconds inbetween your set and 1 minute around your 6reps. let me know the latic acid feeling and pump that makes you and definetly me drop to my knees when i rack it.
afterwards perform dumbbell curls then arnie curls (with you bent over and your arm straight down curling to the left of right) then finishing with the short straight bar on the cables. keep the same principle of reps and sets stated above keeping your elbows in and no cheating. use the biomechanic movements of your body when you bring the bar up
enjoy.
lol its hard to perform 6 reps 110% of your 1 rep max isn't it lol

I dont want to do straight bar curls... the only advantage of straight bar curls is to hit the outer head of the bicep... thats what preachers do.

Those are concentration curls.

110% of his max weight where he can perform 6 reps with a little added extra weight. not 1 rep wouldn't you be intelligent enough to notice this

1. Max weight is 1 rep max.

2. 110% of his max would be 10% more than his 1 rep max, therefore making 6 reps at this weight impossible... and if it is possible, he will end up with a seriosu injury.

3. Bhana is more intelligent than you and your family.

well don't do them then. we share advice here and that exercise has added inches to my arm no doubt about it. striaght bar and preacher don't do the exact same as each other.

remember anything with a bend in the bar is not going to hit the bicep as much as a straight bar will....sry for the triple post........hands must be in the anatomical position, palms facing foward. anything with a bend or vertical grip is not bicep....it might hit it a little bit

^^^^Right. The problem with the EZ bar curl is that it target mainly the inner bicep. I get a overall workout with a straight bar. After a few continous workouts with the straight bar it doesnt bother your wrist anymore. My peak has really grown since using the straight bar.

No one tell you anything about using the squat rack when your curling more than some of these weekend warrior bench. lol
