I know there is a genetic component to small waists. Guys like Cetopani and Brewer, Heath and others are 250+ but still have tiny waists.

How do you think these guys keep these tiny waists? Do they wear corsets or something similar to keep them so small? What are your thoughts?

My opinion is that it has to do with the gh. I know its not proven but it cant be from the diet because I know Wolf is eating just as much as Jay Cutler.

Whats your thought bud.

I'm not really sure what to think. Guys like Ronnie and Jay obviously have the GH gut but guys like Evan, Trey, and Phil don't... yet and they are over 250lbs. That's what I am trying to come to grips with. I am thinking they MUST do something to keep it that small. Maybe I'm wrong. I just wanted to get different people's perspectives on this issue.

I don't want to focus on big guts in bodybuilding I want to discover how some guys keep it so small. Thankfully it looks like the young guys are focusing more on aesthetics. Hopefully it stays that way.

^that is part of it i think.

i remember reading something where ronnie said he has to be careful how he trains his mid section so it doesnt get to wide.

but i also think it is partly genetics like freak said. however, that argument goes out the window when the GH comes into play for cutler and coleman. its an interesting debate.

maybe they do wear corsets freak? haha

i dont see how corsets would keep their waists so small. It holds everything, if you take it off the gut would still expand.

i think the reason why cutler and coleman have big guts is the CONTINUED use of gh. they have been using it for a very long time therefore its taking its toll on there midsection. Wheres, the youngsters like heath, brewer and so on haven't used as much of this stuff as coleman and cutler so it may just be in future years that the younger generation do ultimately turn out like the rest of them. just my thoughts, but i hope they are doing something else and will keep there midsections smaller

As far as I know they do all their exercise with belt on, I even think they wear it when they are eating and stuff.

Saw something about this on youtube, can't find the link now tho, sorry.

Stupid question probably, but what does "GH" mean?

this may sound a little out there but look at powerlifters, i mean their midsection is drum tight, but not fat maybe there is something in the way that they have been training all these years and bodybuilders do use powerlifting excersises so maybe, although i do believe that growth hormone plays a big big part in it, that and genetics
