What is that piece of equipment that you lock onto the barbell and it has two handles that are next to your neck? You hold onto these handles while doing squats to take some of the pressure off your wrists (I think). Also, does anyone know where I can get them? Thanks in advance.

I've never seen a detachable handle like that. I could be wrong, but you might be talking about a bar known as a safety squat bar. Google it, or have a look on the new york barbell website I'm pretty sure they stock them.

Safety Squat bar: Elite Fitness Systems

In my personal use with a SS bar, it makes your lower back work harder because it will force your torso down.
