heya,
Ive been training for round 9 months.
I do things properly with good technique no jerking.
My upper arms have grown really well ie. top of tri and bis / shoulders.
but my lower tricept is so much smaller compared to upper. so annoying.
wat can i do for only lower tri's. only the upper has seemed to grow??

comments please?
tom

Believe it or not, most of the muscle in the tri's are on the top. What technique's are you performing when working the tricep?

Don't different people have muscles of different length. Like some people have high calfs or short biceps.
It might just be how your muscles natuarally are.

COSIGN chris bro

tri's are very easy to bring up to par bro, it all depends on your split, your diet & supplementation...

make sure you give your arms enough time to recover & grow before training them again, so for example if you're going to train shoulders & chest on monday, don't train tri's the next day...

here's a basic split that i've dug up for you

week 1
day 1 - tri's, shoulders
day 2 - lats & traps
day 3 - legs
day 4 - off
day 5 - tri's & chest
day 6- bi's & calves
day 7 - off

week 2
day 1 - off
day 2 - tri's & shoulders
day 3 - lats & traps
day 4 - legs
day 5 - off
day 6 - tri's & chest
day 7 - bi's & calves

experiment with these splits, just make sure that you incorporate them with a 4 day rest between training your tri's again...
2 days recovery
a further 24-48 hrs to maximise your growth potential

Alot of people in this sport walk around with a clouded view of what can and cannot be accomplished with their own physiques.

If you have an arm like most lanky NBA players where the tricep is very short and doesnt flow fully to the elbow, Im sorry but your going to have a seriously hard time ever building a seriously big arm. Ive seen guys in this very forum who had pics up and questioned the methodology of everything (and or diet) like they werent doing something right. And the fact of the matter is I saw the problem as soon as I saw their pics. Let me bottom line it for you, you could do everything (100% to the tee) absolutely best for you training wise, eating wise and exercise selection wise but if Mom and Pop subtracted genetics from your bag of goodies then you need to realize the problem is that and not something else.

Take a look at these 2 pics---two guys about 5'8 and both in really good shape. One is a very young Dennis James (with hair) and the other one is a bodybuilder who does Jarrow ads. Take a look at the muscle bellies in their arms. THAT JARROW GUY WILL NEVER EVER EVER BUILD A 20 INCH ARM---no matter what he does, its just not in his genetic cards. There isnt an exercise program, a diet, or enough drugs that are ever going to make his arms into Dennis James full muscle bellied arms and thats reality.

If you have lengthy arms with 'short lacking muscle bellies' the only thing that is going to dramatically change the look of your arm is "site injections" and im not recommending that but its the realistic truth and even that isnt permanent....

Am I saying give up? Nope. Im saying to take a valid judging of your physique and still do the best you can in building gargantuan size but dont be a fool about it. There isnt enough drugs, supplements, diets or training on this earth to turn Woody Allen into Jay Cutler and all 750 million men of 15 to 50 age group on this planet arent destined to have 20 inch guns if they lift.
here you go from one of the greatest trainers alive.
