Ummmmm it's proven kick back will add more mass. Funny to think about but true.
That's cool with me, when you show us the evidence

I can't explain but it's the one I do for good width.
But it's proven?

I do kickback and I don't feel uncomfortable doing them. However, I use them to finish off my triceps. I will do extensions, CG bench, dips, and skulls prior to kickbacks (note - i am not doing all of these in one workout, I'm not Cutler)

SmallButGettingThere you gotta stop reading Flex magazine. The best exercises you can do for triceps are heavy compound chest ones. You push a lot of weight and your triceps get hammered because they cause extension of the elbow. Your kickbacks may FEEL like they work well cuz they burn, but I could set your ass on fire and it'd burn like hell... doesn't mean it's doing you any good.

y'know I used to do Skull Crushers, Closed Grip Presses, overhead extensions and tricep extensions and wasn't getting much height. Then I added kick backs and one handed cable kickbacks. After that my tricep got wider faster.

Different people react differently to certain excersizes...... If Smallbutgettingthere never wants to be mediumbutgettingthere or hugeandgotthere then let him do what he wants to do.

Well I think the more diffrent excercises you do, the better. I you like them, thats nice, but I dont think they are the key to succes.

I agree with you too but I might try them as a test and see if I get anything from them. If they do help with tricep width, that would be nice.
