im working a 3 way split work out which is below. my main goal is to add mass but would adding a cardio session get in the way of my main goal or would it help me to lose fat at the same time?

Day 1 : chest n tris

Day 3: back and bis

Day 5: shoulders and legs

1 more thing is supersetting an effective way of bulking?

You want high intensity cardio on your off days. Check out the training and nutrition threads. Successful bulking comes down to diet.

Does your chest workout suffer at all because it is 2 days after your shoulder workout? Just inquiring, i know it doesn't have anything to do with your question.

Personally, I like to separate my chest and shoulder workouts by at least 3 days. I'm able to hit both chest and shoulders most effectively that way.
