i have been lifting for about 1.5 years, and ive only increased my weight about 15 pounds total... ive definitely put on some muscle mass, but I cant shake the feeling that I should be bigger than I am.
I train hard and I take protein regularly...is it just how my bodytype is? is this normal? or am i doing something else wrong...

Do you train hard? Do you train consistently? Do you squat and deadlift?

Eat more and more. Sleep even more. Train 5 times a week and use creatine. Nitric Oxide, Axis HT or Animal M Stak. Animal M Stak will seriously give you some great gains.

You have to realize that your genes may have something to say here. Big bones or not. But it will come slowly in time no matter what, but don't fall into the tempation to use steroids, it will destroy your body. Just train plain and simple, and train only basic lifts like squats, deadlifts and bench press, and triceps. Then you will grow some muscles!
