T-Bar rows, bent over rows, reverse rows (works lats and upper back if you arch your back correctly) and even lat pull downs if you lean back enough and keep a fixed plane.

Make sure to really squeeze the upper back muscles too. I see way too many people letting their biceps do too much work when doing upper back exercises. This is an easy trap to fall into.

Dont forget about the rear part of your traps. When doing medium weight shrugs lean over just a little and focu the sqeeze in the rear trap. That gets my upper back popping out of my shirts.

Face pulls are indeed great, but not exactly a mass building exercise. Same with fat boys.

Imo they're more to keep things balanced and keep the shoulders healthy. In this way you could argue that they're in fact more important than the mass building exercises.

barbell rows if done correct i beleive is the best , besides heavy deads, or rack pulls. try this i think it will work great.

lat pulldowns( ultra wide) 4 x6-12
barbell rows- 4 x 6-12
seated rows- 2 x 6-12
facepulls -2 x 15-20
rack pulls or deadlifts 4x3-5
